I have worked as an artist since leaving Art College in 1986.

I love what I do and I'm a friendly, encouraging and easy going Artist. When you come to my studio, I just want you to have the best time. 

Art has taken on many forms to fulfill my desire to be creative. I’ve worked as Design Assistant for Lucienne Day RDI in London and in the Fashion Industry whilst there.

I’ve been a Mural Artist, painting over 100 murals in Children's play areas, the Garrick Theatre, garden walls and children's bedrooms. Also a Florist.

I have embroidered bespoke artworks for clients, including Lichfield Cathedral School and Sir Peter Rigby, creating heirlooms, celebrating milestones, banners for schools and so much more!!

I have run After School Art Clubs (for the Cathedral School for 10 years) 

Also for 10 years was co-owner of A Lichfield Art School where we taught art to children from 5 years to GCSE.
I think of Art as a wonderful retreat from the every day, the perfect mental health activity where you relax and get to make a wonderful piece of art too.

My workshops feel like you are 'going on holiday'.
My Art Studio is a feel-good kind of social space, that is bright and always seems sunny.

I am both a Contemporary and Traditional Artist. I sketch draw paint and embroider but also create Fine Artwork that is thoughtful, informative and enlightens. I create installations, sculpture, performance and costume.

I have a wonderful supportive husband Adam who built my studio onto the side of our home in Lichfield (to get the mess out the house, I’m sure!!) and two very artistic amazing children, Arthur a Film Maker and Pearl a Comic Artist who are on hand to keep me relevant.

I have a DBS  (I work in Schools so it is always up to date) and insurance up to 5 million.

I work freelance at Ingestre Hall Residential Art Centre.

I have an HND in Design Crafts from Cumbria College of Art and Design. An MA in Fine Art from Derby University gaining a Distinction.
