Doodle with Stitch

Join Henrietta in her relaxed Artspace for a creative three/four -hour free style, experimental stitch workshop. Using inspiration from your imagination, a photo, or music!!! we will sketch a few lines to use as our starter. First of all we will use fabric paint to make a few marks on the calico, fix it by ironing then we'll sketch onto the fabric, a few lines to follow to get us going.

Then using a variety of yarns and threads we then with start building up the picture, you can make it as experimental as you like or more of an interpretation of your picture, using whatever stich you like

This is a workshop that encourages; freedom of expression, curiosity, mindfulness and relaxation. With a finished picture on a tambour frame ready to hang.

All materials are provided, and Henrietta will guide you step by step, suitable for all experience levels.…
