Hand stitched appliquéd silk ‘Painting’

This unique artwork is hand stitched like a painting. The thread is the paintbrush or pen, the colours are all various silks. The background is wool felt. Textures and colour inspire me and here we have both, the texture of the grasses and euryngium and the colour of the dianthus and contrast yellow rudbeckias just to make it zing.
