Hand stitched Iris Garden silk ‘Painting’

This unique embroidered and appliquéd artwork is inspired by country gardens. I use thread and silk fabrics as a paintbrush and paint. This is a subtle piece, the iris’s in particular a peach/pink/lilac mix is just stunning. The finished artwork is 10cm x10cm placed on a piece of felt the framed in a colour coordinated frame with no glass so the textures and thread marks can be appreciated. Keep out of direct sunlight to appreciate forever.
